Online Darts Live League Phase II Week 1 Day 3:
Jim McEwan and Scott Williams took the early lead in their respective groups on Thursday as they ended the day top and took full advantage over the rest of the field as they look to join Lee Evans in Saturday’s finale at the Online Darts Live League.
McEwan, who entered Group C having finished 4th in Group A earlier in the week, won four of his five matches as he took the early lead, after recording victories over Pete Burgoyne, Reece Colley, Gary Robson and Johnny Haines, with his only defeat coming against Keelan Kay.
Elsewhere, three players in Johnny Haines, Reece Colley and Pete Burgoyne all ended the day on 6 points each, with Haines sitting in 2nd with a higher leg difference between the trio, as Keelan Kay and Gary Robson sit 5th and 6th respectively on 2 points each.
In Group B, Scott Williams took the early lead, as he completed a clean sweep with four wins from four, in recording victories over Stephen Burton, Matthew Edgar, Graham Hall and David Pallett.
Elsewhere, Stephen Burton sits in 2nd on 6 points, Graham Hall in 3rd on 4 points, Matthew Edgar in 4th on 2 points and David Pallett bottom on 0 points after suffering four defeats from four.
Online Darts Live League continues on Friday with players continuing to battle out as they aim to join Lee Evans in Saturday’s finale, with McEwan and Williams taking the early lead thus far. Group C will commence from 9:30am BST and Group B will commence from 9:30pm BST. Play will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
