Online Darts Live League Phase III Week 3 Day 1.
Matthew Dennant took the early lead on Tuesday in ending Day 1 of Group A, top, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, as the third week of Phase 3 at the Online Darts Live League commenced.
Former Tour Card Holder, Dennant, who competed in the opening two phases of the Live League in 2022, made a sensational return in winning all five of his matches to end Day 1 of Group A, top, after recording victories over James Richardson, Simon Stevenson, Ryan Murray, Scott Marsh and Ciaran Teehan.
Elsewhere, Scott Marsh ended the day in 2nd on 8 points, Ciaran Teehan in 3rd on 6 points, Debutant Ryan Murray in 4th on 4 points, James Richardson in 5th on 2 points and Simon Stevenson bottom on 0 points, having suffered five defeats from five.
Online Darts Live League continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Dennant leading the way thus far. Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups in Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray. Play will begin at 9:30 BST on Wednesday and will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
