Daniel Klose maintained his position at the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning all five of his matches on Day 2 and looks set to secure his place in Saturday’s finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.
Klose, who entered Tuesday’s play joint top on 8 points, won five matches from five to move clear at the top of the table, as he recorded victories over Peter Jacques, Greg Ritchie, Ryan Murray, Rob Collins and Mark McGeeney, to sit on 18 points from a possible 20.
Elsewhere, Greg Ritchie sits in 2nd overall on 12 points, after winning four of his five matches on Tuesday, as Ryan Murray sits in 3rd on 10 points, Rob Collins in 4th on 8 points, with Mark McGeeney and Peter Jacques tied joint bottom on 6 points each.
The Modus Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Klose leading the way thus far. Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups in Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray. Play will begin at 9:30am GMT on Wednesday and will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
