Graham Hall took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day 1 of Group A, top, as he won four of his five matches, with Champions Week of Stage One commencing at the Modus Super Series.
Hall, who entered Champions Week having won Week Three of Stage One, won four matches from five, as he recorded victories over Chas Barstow, Robert Owen, Lee Evans and Conan Whitehead, with his only defeat coming against Graham Usher.
Elsewhere, Graham Usher ended the day in 2nd on 6 points, with the four remaining players in Chas Barstow, Lee Evans, Conan Whitehead and Robert Owen all sit on 4 points each, with Barstow sitting in 3rd with a higher leg difference over his three competitors.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Hall leading the way thus far. Play will begin at 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
