Reece Colley, Mark Graham, Scott Walters, Jim McEwan and James Hurrell all secured their places in Saturday’s finale on Friday after coming through their respective groups.
They will join Robert Owen, the winner of Group A earlier in the week, at the Modus Super Series Weekly finals.
Colley, who entered Friday’s play on 10 points from the opening day of Group C, won four matches from five as he topped the group overall, by recording victories over Mark Graham, Martin Thomas, Kevin Garcia and Michael Huntley, with his only defeat across 10 matches coming against Shane McGuirk.
Elsewhere, Mark Graham also secured his place in Saturday’s finale at the first attempt, after finishing 2nd overall on 14 points, with Shane McGuirk finishing 3rd on 10 points, Michael Huntley and Martin Thomas joint 4th on 8 points each and Kevin Garcia bottom on just 2 points.
In Group B, Scott Walters topped the group overall, after winning all four of his matches on Friday evening, as he recorded victories over Jim McEwan, James Hurrell, Richard North and Pete Burgoyne, to end on 14 points from a possible 16.
Elsewhere, Jim McEwan and James Hurrell also secured their places in Saturday’s finale, after finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with McEwan finishing on 10 points and Hurrell on 8 points, as Richard North and Pete Burgoyne finished joint bottom on 4 points each.
The Modus Super Series continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week 1 with the six players battling it out for just 1 spot up for grabs at Champions Week, with play commencing from 10:00pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
