French Touch Through to Finale

Thibault Tricole secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after winning just two of his five matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.

Tricole, who entered Wednesday’s play on 18 points from the opening day of Group A, topped the group overall, despite only winning two matches from five, as he recorded victories over Andy Hamilton and Matt Jackson, with defeats coming against Martin Adams, Jesus Noguera and Robert Thornton, to end on 22 points from a possible 30.

Elsewhere, Martin Adams and Andy Hamilton will compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2^nd and 3^rd respectively overall, with Adams finishing on 18 points and Hamilton on 16 points. The duo will be joined by Stephen Burton, Justin Smith and Lee Cocks.

Robert Thornton, Jesus Noguera and Matt Jackson will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4^th, 5^th and 6^th respectively overall, with Thornton finishing on 16 points, Noguera on 14 points and Jackson on 6 points. The trio will be joined by David Wawrzewski, Scott Taylor and Cam Crabtree.

Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 9:30am GMT and Group B commencing from 10pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
