Chris Landman took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day 1 of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with Week 8 of Stage 2 commencing at the Modus Super Series.
Landman, who was making his debut at the Super Series, won four matches from five to take the early lead in Group A, as he recorded victories over Richard Veenstra, Adam Warner, Willem Mandigers and Tony Newell, with his only defeat coming against Luke Getty.
Elsewhere, another debutant in Adam Warner also ended the day on 8 points, but sits behind Landman on leg difference 8, as Richard Veenstra sits in 3rd on 6 points, Tony Newell in 4th on 4 points, with Luke Getty and Willem Mandigers sitting 5th and 6th respectively on 2 points each.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Landman leading the way thus far.
