Martin Adams and Paul Hogan took the early lead on Thursday in ending Day 1 of their respective groups, top, as they look to join Kevin Painter in Saturday’s finale at the Modus Super Series.
3x World Champion, Adams, made his return to the Super Series by taking the early lead in Group C, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, as he recorded victories over David Davies, Barrie Bates, Mike Symes, Gary Stafford and Kevin Dowling, dropping just two legs along the way.
Elsewhere, Gary Stafford ended the day in 2nd on 8 points, Kevin Dowling in 3rd on 6 points, David Davies in 4th on 4 points, Mike Symes in 5th on 2 points, but it was a disappointing Thursday for Barrie Bates, who ended the day bottom on 0 points, having suffered five defeats from five.
In Group B, Paul Hogan took the early lead, after completing a clean sweep with four wins from four, as he recorded victories over Dave Prins, Mike Norton, Colin Monk and Matt Clark.
Elsewhere, Matt Clark and Colin Monk ended the night 2nd and 3rd respectively on 4 points each, whilst Mike Norton and Dave Prins sit 4th and 5th on 2 points each heading into the second and final day of Group B on Friday evening.
Modus Super Series continues on Friday with players continuing to battle out as they aim to join Kevin Painter in Saturday’s finale, with Adams and Hogan taking the early lead thus far. Group C will commence from 9:30am GMT and Group B will commence from 10pm GMT.
