Niall Culleton took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day 1 of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with Week 12 of Stage 2 commencing at the Modus Super Series.
Irishman Culleton, who became a regular fixture at the Super Series in 2022, made his return by taking the early lead in Group A, after winning four matches from five, as he recorded victories over Richard North, John Henderson, Reece Colley and Lee Budgen, with his only defeat coming against Danny Smith.
Elsewhere, Smith ended the day in 2nd on 6 points, whilst the remaining four players all ended on 4 points each, with Former World Cup of Darts Winner John Henderson sitting in 3rd with a higher leg difference over his three competitors.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Culleton leading the way thus far. Play will begin at 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
