Richard North, Jarred Cole, Niall Culleton, Fallon Sherrock and John Henderson all secured their places in Saturday’s finale on Friday after coming through their respective groups at the Modus Super Series, to join Lee Budgen, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
North, who entered Friday’s play on 10 points from the opening day of Group C, topped the group overall by completing a clean sweep once again, with five wins from five, as he recorded victories over Mark Graham, Reece Colley, Danny Smith, Josh McCarthy and Jarred Cole, to end on an incredible 20 points from a possible 20.
Elsewhere, Jarred Cole also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after finishing 2nd overall on 14 points, whilst Reece Colley finished 3rd on 12 points, Josh McCarthy in 4th on 8 points, Mark Graham in 5th on 6 points and Danny Smith bottom on 0 points.
In Group B, Niall Culleton topped the group overall, despite only winning two matches from four on Friday Evening, as he recorded victories over Shaun Griffiths and Ryan Palmer, with defeats coming against Fallon Sherrock and John Henderson, to end on 12 points from a possible 16.
Elsewhere, Fallon Sherrock and John Henderson also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Sherrock ending on 10 points and Henderson on 8 points, edging out Shaun Griffiths, who also ended on 8 points, but missed out on leg difference, whilst Ryan Palmer finished bottom on 2 points.
The Modus Super Series continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week 12 with the six players battling it out for just 1 spot up for grabs at Champions Week, with play commencing from 10:00pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
