Stone’s Perfect 10

GARY Stone maintained his position at the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning all five of his matches on Day 2, and looks set to secure his place in Saturday’s finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.

Stone, who entered Tuesday’s play on 10 points from the opening day of Group A, won five matches from five once again, as he recorded victories over Martin Adams, Harry Ward, Lee Shewan, Andy Boulton and Robert Rickwood, to sit on 20 points from a possible 20 thus far and is all but certain of securing an automatic spot through to Saturday’s finale via Group A.

Elsewhere, Andy Boulton is currently the closest competitor to Stone, with the Scotsman sitting in 2^nd on 14 points, whilst Lee Shewan and Harry Ward sit 3^rd and 4^th respectively on 8 points each, Martin Adams in 5^th on 6 points and Robert Rickwood bottom on 4 points.

The Modus Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Stone leading the way thus far. Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups for Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.

Play will begin at 9:30am GMT on Wednesday and will be streamed live on The Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
