Van Peer Dominant

Berry Van Peer secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after winning four of her five matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.

Van Peer, who entered Wednesday’s play on 18 points from the opening two days of Group A, won four matches from five to top the group overall, as he recorded victories against James Hurrell, Lisa Ashton, Ryan Harrington and Jack Vincent, with his only defeat coming against Jacob Taylor, to end on 26 points from a possible 30.

Elsewhere, Jacob Taylor and Lisa Ashton will compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2^nd and 3^rd respectively overall, with Taylor ending on 22 points and Ashton on 12 points. The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Leonard Gates, Diogo Portela and Justin Hood.

Ryan Harrington, James Hurrell and Jack Vincent will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4^th, 5^th and 6^th respectively overall, with Harrington ending on 12 points, Hurrell on 10 points and Vincent on 8 points. The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Martin Thomas, Stu Wilson and Mike Huntley.

Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm GMT and Group B commencing from 10pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
