John Henderson maintained his position at the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning four of his five matches on Day Two, and looks set to secure his place in Saturday’s finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.
Henderson, who entered Tuesday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group A, won four matches from five again to remain top of the table, as he recorded victories against Lukas Wenig, Chris Gilliland, Dan Read and Neil Duff, with his only defeat coming against Viteslav Sedlak, with the Scotsman sitting on 16 points from a possible 20 thus far.
Elsewhere, Lukas Wenig is the closest competitor to Henderson, with the German sitting in 2nd on 14 points, whilst Chris Gilliland sits in 3rd on 10 points, with Dan Read and Viteslav Sedlak sitting 4th and 5th respectively on 8 points each and Neil Duff sits bottom on 4 points.
Reigning Lakeside Champion Duff has endured a torrid start to his latest Super Series appearance only claiming a single victory on each of the first two days. The Northern Irishman will almost certainly have to make his way through the morning groups om Thursday and Friday if he is to appear in a another weekly finale
The Modus Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Henderson leading the way thus far. Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups in Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.
Play will begin at 9:30 am GMT on Wednesday and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker websites worldwide.
