Scott Taylor took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning three of his five matches, with Champions Week of Stage Three commencing at the Modus Super Series.
Taylor, who entered Champions Week having won Week Four back in March, won three matches from five to take the early lead in Group A, as he recorded victories against Justin Hood, Luke Littler and Matt Clark, with his two defeats coming against Mike Warburton and Jelle Klaasen.
Elsewhere, Matt Clark and Luke Littler also ended the day on 6 points each, but sit behind Taylor on leg difference, whilst the remaining three players in Mike Warburton, Jelle Klaasen and Justin Hood sit 4th, 5th and 6th respectively overall on 4 points each.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with leading the way thus far.
Play will begin at 9:30am BST and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
