Blom Sweeps Into Finale

Moreno Blom secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.

Blom, who entered Wednesday in 4^th on only 10 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall and incredibly secured an automatic place in Saturday’s finale, as he recorded victories against Mal Cuming, Wesley Harms, Lee Cocks, Danny Lauby and Youri Brouwer, to end on 20 points from a possible 30.

Elsewhere, Wesley Harms and Lee Cocks both narrowly missed out on an automatic spot through to Saturday’s finale, as the pair ended on 20 points each, with Harms missing out due to his head-to-head statistic with Blom and Cocks on leg difference. The duo will compete in Group B and will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Keelan Kay, Rob Collins and Ryan Palmer.

Danny Lauby, Mal Cuming and Youri Brouwer will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4^th, 5^th and 6^th respectively overall, with Lauby ending on 14 points, Cuming on 12 points and Brouwer on 4 points.

The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Robert Rickwood, David Evans and Debutant, Charlie Large.

Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm BST and Group B commencing from 10pm BST. Play will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
