Kist's Perfect Day Seals Finale Appearance

Christian Kist edged early leader Kevin Blomme in the final day of Group A action in the MODUS Super Series, recording the highest leg difference of +36 in the event to book his place in Saturday’s Finale.

The former World Champion rounded off a perfect final day with a 4-0 victory over Martijn Dragt, recording a clean sweep in Portsmouth. The Dutchman claimed his most crucial win just before, clinching his second whitewash win over Blomme this week with his highest average on Wednesday off 98.56 including 2 180s.

Belgian international Blomme and Martijn Dragt will join Group B as they look to also secure their spots at Finals Night. They will be joined by Adam Lipscombe, Ryan Furness and former weekly winner Colin Osborne who will hope to secure another place in Champions Week.

The rest of the field will join Group C, with the likes of Kevin Painter and ADC qualifier Peter Hudson set to return to action on Thursday afternoon along with ADC Europe qualifier Philip van Gasse, who finished bottom of Group A despite a late resurgence with late victories over the Artist and the Rock.

Prakash Jiwa who will represent India at the upcoming 2023 World Cup of Darts, Scott Baker and Winmau star Willie Borland will also join Group C. Big Willie will be eager to impress in Portsmouth and comes in on the back of some form, playing well in the ongoing Vault 2.0 in Scotland.

The action will continue Thursday from 1pm with Group C commencing, as Prakash Jiwa opens Day 4 against ADC qualifier Peter Hudson.

Group B starts from 10pm with Kevin Blomme looking to keep his strong form up as he faces Adam Lipscombe in the first match.
