Berry Van Peer took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with Week Six of Stage Four commencing at the Modus Super Series.
Van Peer, who’s had an impressive 2023 campaign thus far, made his return to the Super Series by taking the early lead in Group A, as he won four matches from five and recorded victories against Ron Meulenkamp, Fallon Sherrock, Joey Ten Berge and John Brown, with his only defeat on the day coming against Jim Long.
Elsewhere, Long and Sherrock ended the day joint 2nd on 6 points each, with Ten Berge and Meulenkamp sitting 4th and 5th respectively on 4 points each and Brown sitting bottom on 2 points.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Van Peer leading the way thus far.
Play will begin at 9:30am BST and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
