Fallon Sherrock, Alec Small, Jamie Kelling, Scott Taylor and Berry Van Peer all secured their places in Saturday’s finale on Friday.
The five secured their spots by coming through their respective groups at the Modus Super Series, to join Jim Long, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
Small, who entered Friday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group C, topped the group overall after winning three of his five matches, as he recorded victories against Joey Ten Berge, Alan Norris and John Brown, with his two defeats coming against Jamie Kelling and Ron Meulenkamp, to end on 14 points from a possible 20.
Elsewhere, Jamie Kelling also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after finishing 2nd overall on 14 points, whilst Ron Meulenkamp finished in 3rd on 12 points, Joey Ten Berge in 4th on 8 points, with John Brown and Alan Norris finishing joint bottom on 6 points each.
In Group B, Fallon Sherrock topped the group overall, after winning three of her four matches, as she recorded victories against Berry Van Peer, Shaun McDonald and Lee Budgen, with her only defeat coming against Scott Taylor, to end on 10 points from a possible 16.
Elsewhere, Scott Taylor and Berry Van Peer also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively on 8 points each, edging out Shaun McDonald, who also ended on 8 points, but missed out on leg difference, whilst Lee Budgen finished bottom on 6 points.
The Modus Super Series continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week Six with the six players battling it out for just one spot up for grabs at Champions Week, with play commencing from 7:30pm BST.
