Mould Dominates ADC Rankings

Former MODUS Super Series winner Adam Mould is the runaway leader in the Amateur Darts Circuit rankings, ahead of 2nd placed Tony Wood by 423pts. Mouldy won the Wooburn Open in mid-June to move onto 976pts.

Adam defeated Josh McCarthy 6-4 in the final in High Wycombe including an impressive first 9-dart average of 106.53. 

The 35-year-old Englishman was recently appointed the Southeast & London Regional Director by the ADC, having run events in Aylesbury including multiple Vault Tournaments and Weekend Opens. Karl Coleman another player associated within the organisation was made the Northeast Regional Director. 

Former ADC player Adam Warner who earnt a PDC tour card, returned to action on Sunday as he won the Riley’s Liverpool June GSoD after beating Kai Fan Leung 5-4 in the Final. The Sheffield born thrower included a 111 checkout to wrap up victory against the player from Hong Kong, who picked up 32pts for reaching the Final. 

Tom Sykes claimed 128pts after winning the Barnsley Series of Darts Monkey Mills Memorial on Saturday, to move into 20th place in the rankings. Sykes included a 135 checkout in beating ADC Number 8 Carl Wilkinson 6-2 in the Final at Portcullis. 

Raymond Marshall picked up the Globe Gateshead GSoD on Saturday to earn 64 ranking points, beating ADC No. 2, Tony Wood, in the Semi Finals and John Kippen 5-2 in the Final. Biffa sits in 22nd position in the rankings, with 10pts separating him from Winmau Open Series Event 4 winner Matt Clark in 21st

Former American World Cup of Darts player Danny Lauby Jr recorded the highest average in ADC history, scoring a staggering 125.25 in beating Matthew Washbrooke 3-0 in the Final of a Vault 2.0 Event at Avon Sports Bar in the Midlands Region.

The Vault 2.0 enters its final week this week, with the Top 8 players in every venue table set to be paid out. The best performing players in each of the selected venues will qualify for the Regional Finals, where the winner will earn a spot on the MODUS Super Series. 

The likes of Peter Hudson, Daniel Lee, and John Brown all secured visits to Portsmouth most recently, having claimed regional titles in the Northwest, Midlands, and Southeast during the Vault 1st Series.
