Boulton Claims Finals Place

Andy Boulton secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after winning four of his five matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.

Boulton, who entered Wednesday’s play on 18 points from the opening two days of Group A, won four matches from five for the second day in a row to top the group overall, as he recorded victories against Tommy Lishman, Thomas Junghans, Stefan Bellmont and Adam Atkinson, with his only defeat coming against Sebastian Bialecki, to end on 26 points from a possible 30.

Elsewhere, Sebastian Bialecki and Stefan Bellmont will compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2^nd and 3^rd respectively overall, with Bialecki ending on 24 points and Bellmont on 16 points. The duo will be joined on Group B on Thursday and Friday Evening by Alexander Merkx, Owen Bates and Paul Hogan.

Tommy Lishman, Thomas Junghans and Adam Atkinson will compete in Group C, after finishing 4^th, 5^th and 6^th respectively, with Lishman ending on 14 points, Junghans on 8 points and Atkinson on 2 points. The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Scott Mitchell, James Hurrell and Josh Richardson.

Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm BST and Group B commencing from 10pm BST.
