Rene Eidams secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after winning three of his five matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.
Eidams, who entered Wednesday’s play on 14 points from the opening two days of Group A, won three matches from five for the second day in a row to top the group overall, as he recorded victories against Davie Kirwan, Steve Brown and Tom Becker, with his two defeats coming against Jon Worsley and Jim Mayer, to end on 20 points from a possible 30.
Elsewhere, Steve Brown and Davie Kirwan will compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Brown ending on 18 points and Kirwan on 16 points. The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Darryl Pilgrim, Darren Johnson and Martyn Turner.
Jon Worsley, Jim Mayer and Tom Becker will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4th, 5th and 6th respectively, with Worsley ending on 16 points, Mayer on 14 points and Becker on 6 points. The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Adam Mould, Robert Grundy and Chris Wickenden.
The Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm BST and Group B commencing from 10pm BST.
