Alec Small, Shane McGuirk, Mike Gillet, Haruki Muramatsu and Kevin Painter all secured their places in Saturday’s finale on Friday after coming through their respective groups at the Modus Super Series.
The five join Andreas Harrysson, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
Small, who entered Friday’s play joint top on 6 points from the opening day of Group C, topped the group overall, after winning four of his five matches, as he recorded victories against Mikuru Suzuki, Shane McGuirk, Chris Wickenden and Cor Dekker, with his only defeat coming against Ricky Palmer, to end on 14 points from a possible 20.
Elsewhere, Shane McGuirk also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after finishing 2nd overall on 12 points, whilst Cor Dekker and Mikuru Suzuki finished 3rd and 4th respectively on 10 points each, with Ricky Palmer finishing 5th on 8 points and Chris Wickenden bottom on 6 points.

In Group B, Mike Gillet topped the group overall, despite only winning two of his four matches on Friday Evening, as he recorded victories against Tommy Lishman and Ryan Palmer, with his two defeats coming against Kevin Painter and Haruki Muramatsu, to end on 12 points from a possible 16.
Elsewhere, Haruki Muramatsu and Kevin Painter also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Muramatsu ending on 10 points and Painter on 8 points, edging out Tommy Lishman, who also ended on 8 points overall, but missed out in 4th on leg difference, whilst Ryan Palmer finished bottom on 2 points.
The Modus Super Series continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week Seven with the six players battling it out for just one spot up for grabs at Champions Week, with play commencing from 7:30pm BST.
