Alex Spellman took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, as Week Eight of Stage Five commenced at the Modus Super Series.
Spellman, who last appeared at the Super Series back in April, made his return by taking the early lead in Group A, after again winning all five of his matches, as he recorded victories against Neil Duff, Jarred Cole, James Richardson, Bradly Roes and Christopher Toonders, dropping just six legs along the way.
Elsewhere, Neil Duff ended the day in 2nd on 6 points, whilst three players in Bradly Roes, Christopher Toonders and Jarred Cole sit 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively on 4 points each, with James Richardson sitting bottom on 2 points.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Spellman leading the way thus far.
Play will begin at 9:30am BST and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
