Welcome
The traditional last minute scramble for qualifying places at the World Grand Prix added some extra drama to the already enjoyable European Tour this month.
Whilst it was Chizzy and Cool Hand Luke Humphries who grabbed the headlines, Luke Woodhouse, Gian Van Veen and Jermaine Wattimena embarked valiant efforts to make the field for the first of the Autumn ranking majors.
Indeed since our mid-summer Darts World Extra the tungsten world has barely missed a beat. The Pro Tour has held multiple blocks of Players Championships. The PDC Youth World Championship was played from 64 to 2! The Women’s Series has played another four competitions and left only one more batch for the 2023 season.
Meanwhile, the European Tour returned from its early Summer hiatus to bring two superb events and The World Series of Darts played out its annual finals in the Netherlands….
