Recent ADC Southwest Title winner Ricky Palmer returned to winning ways on the Amateur Darts Circuit, recently winning a Vault Series 4.0 event at Dartsasylum in Bristol.
Ricky defeated his brother Ryan last Saturday after both were in action in the MODUS Super Series, to become the new Southwest Title holder with a 9-8 victory at the Live Lounge.
The 38-year-old defeated Shorey Ayres 3-1 to win the Thursday at Dartsasylum competition, including a 107 finish in the third leg to hold throw.
Palmer defeated recent Red Dragon Champion of Champions Semi Finalist Johnny Haines in the Semi Finals, clinching a last leg decider despite The Punk hitting a 137 finish to wrap up a 15 darter.
Danny Humphries leads the way in the Southwest Vault Series rankings with 57 points, having claimed four weekly competition victories so far.
The Series will come to an end on the 29th of October, with the top 32 in the rankings qualifying for a place in the Finals Night for the respective region.
The winner on Finals Night will secure a place in the MODUS Super Series, with 11 regional winners in the 3rd Series securing trips to Portsmouth including Thomas Banks, Michael Huntley, and Colin McGarry.
The Chief was also amongst the Thursday Vault 4.0 Series winners, with victory at the Ballylumford Sports & Social Club in the Northern Ireland region.
Colin dropped just one leg from the Quarter Finals onwards, beating John McLoughlin 3-0 in the Final with a first 9 dart average of 107.
The 58-year-old sits 7th in the Northern Ireland regional rankings, having claimed the qualifying position from the Vault 3.0 after winning the Finals Night event.
Darnell McCrory leads proceedings with 48pts, sitting 19pts clear of 2nd placed Robert Bailie with a month of competition left to play before Finals Night on November 5th.
The ADC Vault 4.0 series continues Friday in the Northeast, Wales, and Scotland regions, with competitions taking place in Middlesbrough, Bridgend and Kilmarnock.
