Andy Hamilton has accepted an invitation to the 2024 JenningsBet World Seniors Darts Championship.
The Hammer, a former World Championship Finalist, will make his WSDT TV debut at the iconic Circus Tavern for the third edition of the World Seniors Darts Championship.
Robert Thornton will return once again as the defending champion but will be wary of the presence of Leonard Gates.
The Texan has won the last 3 WSDT TV titles and needs just the World Championship to hold all 4 simultaneously.
Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor and Martin ‘Wolfie’ Adams will both make their 3rd bids for a first Seniors title.
The duo have won 19 World Championships between them, but have been unable to add to their tallies in the last two years.
Returning to Purfleet between the 15th-18th February, the World Championships will once again feature 32 players across 8 sessions of darts.
Billy Lovell of the World Seniors Darts Tour said:
“We are delighted to give Andy his first World Seniors invitation for the JenningsBet World Seniors Darts Championship.
The Hammer has a big fan base and plenty of ability and will be a great addition to the tournament.”
“As a player that gives his all every time he’s on the oche, we’ve been impressed by Andy’s desire to compete at every level, and look forward to seeing what he can do at the Circus Tavern next year!”
