Team 360 Out and About in October

Red Dragon Darts

This week’s round-up starts with a congratulations and introduction to Cori Wiltshire, who will
joining Team360 after graduating from the JDC Cadets scheme.

Cori has been a force in local competition in 2023 and recently making moves on the JDC circuit. He started his Team360 journey with a knockout run in the Burnham and Highbridge round robin, losing out in the last 16 to Mike Norton.

After recording wins over Ella Williams, Kacie O’Connor and Krystal O’Connor in the group stages, would then
average 70 in seeing off Amy-Leigh Tolley in the final four.

It would be another impressive performance in the final, despite losing out to Paige Pauling, where she took a leg off the young star and once again averaged close to the 70 mark.

There would also be a knockout stage run for Fabian Tapner on Sunday, as he edged out of his group
with two wins from three matches. The young Welshman would then face former JDC Advanced Tour
winner, Jack Nankervis, in the quarter-finals where he would lose out 3-0.

Elsewhere, Ben McCaffery would come oh so close in the Memorial Cup final in his home county.
After capturing the title 12 months ago, he would be edged out in a deciding leg after a strong
campaign which included an 11-darter!

Previously on Team 360…

(Weekend Oct 8th)

Fabian Tapner and Hannah Meek were both in England darts action, with last 16’s for the pair. It was
a strong run in the mixed event from Meek, holding her own against a string field of opposition.
Welsh thrower, Tapner, is now returning to his best and seems to be finding his feet in the England
Grand Prix events.

It was also a positive week for Ireland’s Adam Dee. He won the YDS Challenge Cup and added a
quarter-final at county level and an ADC Vault later in the week.

With the final weekend of Women’s Series action approaching, we expect next week to be another
busy week for Team360!

Team 360 at The World Cup

The WDF World Cup proved to be an impressive week for Team Ireland, with Team360 star, Adam Dee, leading the charge. He would reach the quarter-finals of the mixed pairs and the boy’s pairs with partner Sean McKeon. An excellent week long performance from emerging Irish captain Dee was capped as his team finished second in the medal table, with five medals to show for their efforts.

Gibraltar was represented by Team360 star, Nico Bado, as joined an experienced trio to make up the foursome. Whilst there were early defeats in the singles and pairs for Bado, who was representing them at senior level, his team did reach the last 32 of the team competition.

Hannah Meek

Hannah Meek was representing eventual champions, England, and she made her mark with a number of impressive results. Her and Paige Pauling were victorious in the girl’s pairs, going the entirety of the knockout stage without dropping a leg. She would also reach the semi-finals of girl’s singles and the final four of the mixed pairs, losing out to girl’s pairs partner Pauling, and Thomas Banks.

Ryan Branley was also in action away from the WDF World Cup, he was on the senior county stage, and produced an 84 average in Northumberland’s convincing win over Shropshire.

In other news, now former Team360 star, Connor Hopkins, has signed a Winmau evolution deal. This comes in the lead up to his MODUS Super Series debut, where he will take on some recognisable names in his TV debut.
