Viktor Tingstrom took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, as Week Two of Series Six commenced at the Modus Super Series.
Tingstrom, who last appeared at the Super Series back in October, made his return by taking the early lead in Group A, after winning all five of his matches.
The Swede, a former Finnish Open winner, recorded victories against Scott Mitchell, Andy Boulton, Anton Ostlund, Nathan Treadgold and Dom Taylor.
Elsewhere, incredibly all five of the remaining players are sat on 4 points each following the opening day of Group A, with ‘X-Factor’ Andy Boulton sat in 2nd due to a higher leg difference over his four competitors.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Tingstrom leading the way thus far.
Play will begin at 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
