Jake MacMillan took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with Week Three of Series Six commencing at the Modus Super Series.
Canada’s MacMillan, who was making his Super Series debut, made an excellent start by taking the early lead in Group A, after winning four matches from five, as he recorded victories against Leonard Gates, James Richardson, Johan Engstrom and Jan McIntosh, with his only defeat coming against Jim McEwan.
Elsewhere, three players in James Richardson, Leonard Gates and Johan Engstrom ended the day 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively on 6 points each, whilst the defending champion Jim McEwan sits in 5th on 4 points and Jan McIntosh bottom on 0 points, having suffered five defeats from five on debut.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with MacMillan leading the way thus far.
Play will begin at 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
