Tunsten adventures took our ‘Dynamite Duo’, Tucker n’ Toft, and good friend Liam Green, to The Windle in St. Helens over the past weekend.
A literal dart throw away from the famous St Helen’s darts shop! The event was a ADC verified Grandslam event, £10 entry. Ample parking and hot food was available. Everything you needed for a darting day out.
There were some notable namesin attendance including former world youth Champion Bradley Brooks, Petros Christodoulou, Kai Fan Leung, Janis Mustafejevs, Jim Moston and James Welding (in excellent form as late).
The host of the event was Mr FatalDarts himself, Alan Hodgson. The event was a GrandSlam with 4 board set up (Winmau Blade 6 with surrounds and dart light surrounds ) and 2 practice boards available.
The Darts World duo both reached creditable Last 16 places, and were both the victim of last leg shoot outs to boot. Ultimately it was the Hong Konger Leung, aka Fat Beauty, who came through to edge out Moston in a last leg decider.
