Grassroots darts received another shot in the arm today with the announcement that the Amateur Darts Circuit’s VAULT events will increase regional prize fund payout places as the competition continues to pay out over £1 million every year.
The ADC has confirmed a major increase to its VAULT regional payout structure, with prize money now set to be paid down to the Top 32 players in each regional table from VAULT 18 onwards.
Previously, regional VAULT prize fund payouts were awarded to the Top 16 players. However, following continued growth across the ADC VAULT, increased participation, and soaring prize funds, the decision has been made to double the number of regional payout places.

The move means more players across the UK and Ireland will now have the opportunity to earn prize money through the VAULT system, creating greater rewards, stronger competition, and more reason for players to stay in the race throughout each series.
The ADC VAULT now pays out over £1 million every year, making it one of the most rewarding grassroots darts competition structures in the game. From VAULT 18, the Top 32 players in each regional VAULT table will receive a share of the regional prize fund, giving even more players the chance to be rewarded for their consistency and performances across the series.

Across the wider Amateur Darts Circuit, the combined annual prize payout now exceeds £1.8 million, covering regional events, national finals, global opportunities, pathway competitions, and major ADC events. The expansion of the VAULT regional payouts is another step in strengthening the ADC’s commitment to creating a competitive darts pathway for players at every level.
A spokesperson for the ADC said:
“VAULT continues to grow at an incredible rate, and with prize funds now reaching new levels, we felt it was the right time to expand the regional payout structure. Moving from Top 16 to Top 32 means more players are rewarded, more players remain involved deeper into the series, and every event carries even more importance.
“Our aim has always been to build a pathway that gives players something meaningful to play for. This change is another clear example of that commitment.”
The VAULT remains one of the ADC’s key regional competition structures, providing players with regular competitive opportunities, regional ranking tables, prize money, and qualification pathways into major ADC events.
