Ben Robb took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with Week Five of Series Six commencing at the Modus Super Series.
Robb, who last appeared at the Super Series 12 months ago in December 2022, made his return with the New Zealand star preparing for his return to the PDC World championship later this month.
The Rangiora thrower recorded victories against Jeffrey De Graaf, Marko Kantele, Tony Wood and Steve West, with his only defeat coming against Simon Adams.
Elsewhere, Jeffrey De Graaf and Steve West ended the day 2nd and 3rd respectively overall on 6 points each, whilst Marko Kantele and Simon Adams sit 4th and 5th on 4 points each, with Tony Wood sitting bottom on 2 points.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Robb leading the way thus far.
Play will begin at 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
