Champion Taylor Through to MSS Weekly Finale

Scott Taylor secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after winning three of his five matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.

Taylor, seeking to become only the second player to defend an MSS Champions title, entered Wednesday’s play on 18 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall, after winning three matches from five.

The North West thrower recorded victories against Antony Allen, Nigel Lloyd and Neil Duff, with his two defeats coming against Adam Lipscombe and Jimmy Hendriks, to end on 24 points from a possible 30.

Elsewhere, Adam Lipscombe and Neil Duff will compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2^nd and 3^rd respectively overall on 18 points each and the duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Chas Barstow, Chris Quantock and former PDC Tour Card Holder, and winner on the European Tour,, Devon Petersen.

Antony Allen, Jimmy Hendriks and Nigel Lloyd will compete in Group C, after finishing 4^th, 5^th and 6^th respectively overall, with Allen finishing on 12 points, Hendriks on 10 points and Lloyd on 8 points. The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Steve Hine, Joe Croft and Johnny Stewart.

The Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm GMT and Group B commencing from 10pm GMT.
