DUBLIN hosts the eighth round of the Premier League this evening and title sponsor BetMGM’s odds present some interesting options for those happy to have a flutter.
Two pieces of value that leap from the page are Peter Wright still 13/4 to reach the semi despite breaking his PL duck last week and 7/1 for a 9 darter is just as good a value as last week. A miss on double 12, from Luke Littler, leaves opportunity for all 8 men to claim the first perfect leg of the 2024 PDC Premier League:
Match Odds:
- Luke Humphries and Peter Wright will kick off the action this Thursday night. Humphries heads in to the match as favourite, priced at 1/5, whilst Peter Wright will be looking to build on his victory over Gerwyn Price last week. Wright is priced at 13/4 to advance to the semi finals in Dublin.
- Nathan Aspinall faces Rob Cross in the second game of the night in a repeat of last week’s quarter final fixture. Last Thursday, Aspinall defeated Cross in a last leg decider, and he heads into this weeks fixture at 27/25. Despite the defeat to Aspinall last week. Rob Cross starts the match as favourite priced at 7/10.
- Dutchman Michael Van Gerwen faces Wales’ Gerwyn Price in the third fixture of the evening. Van Gerwen is priced at 7/10 to get the victory whilst its 27/25 for Price to reach the semi finals.
- The final quarter final fixture of the evening sees Luke Littler face Michael Smith. Littler heads into the match as favourite at 4/11 while Smith is priced at 39/20.
- Fans are still waiting for the first nine dart finish of the BetMGM Premier League season. It’s 7/1 for a nine dart finish to be thrown in Dublin.
Nightly Winner:
Luke Humphries will be looking to make it three night wins in a row in Dublin and he heads into this round of fixtures as the favourite, priced at 9/4. Luke Littler is still searching for his first Premier League round win and he’s available at 3/1, whilst former World Champion Gerwyn Price is priced at 8/1. Michael Van Gerwen will be aiming to win his first points since round four and he is priced at 11/2 to win the round in Dublin.
- Luke Humphries – 9/4
- Luke Littler – 3/1
- Michael Van Gerwen – 11/2
- Gerwyn Price – 8/1
- Rob Cross – 9/1
- Nathan Aspinall – 12/1
- Michael Smith- 12/1

The battle for the play-offs at the O2 is heating up! This week we head to Dublin for the seventh round of the BetMGM Premier League. Luke Humphries has been in impressive form in recent weeks and he’ll be looking to make it a hat-trick of consecutive wins, while Luke Littler is aiming for his first Premier League round win.
After starting the season in stunning form, Michael Van Gerwen will want to bounce back from a blip in form. There’s definitely still more twists and turns yet and we can’t wait for the action to unfold.

Punters Fancy a Clash of the Lukes:
Darts Takes Ireland by Storm as WGP sponsor sees things a little differently
Luke Humphries is the 2/1 favourite with bookies BoyleSports to win night 8 of the Premier League Darts as an octet of darts stars will take to the stage on Thursday night in the 3 Arena.
Humphries is set to take on Peter Wright in the opening quarter-final of the night and is a red-hot 1/5 favourite to progress into the semi-finals. With Nathan Aspinall taking on Rob Cross and Michael van Gerwen set to play Gerwyn Price, there is plenty to whet the appetite of darts fans early on.
Darts sensation Luke Littler has lost just one opening match after seven nights of the Premier League, but he does face stiff competition in former world champion Michael Smith who has beaten Littler in two out of three clashes this year. Savvy punters have already snapped up some of the 21/10 offered by BoyleSports on Smith cementing his head-to-head record, with Littler just 4/11 to pull it back to all-square.
All eyes will on the prize at the end of the night and Littler is the 5/2 second favourite to put an end to Luke Humphries’ winning streak, while Michael van Gerwen, who is bidding to record a fourth win from just eight nights in this year’s Premier League, is rated a 5/1 chance.
The Dublin crowd will be hoping for a nine darter and with Luke Littler hitting three this year and Michael Smith recording one on Monday, excitement will be high ahead of their opening quarter final and a nine darter on the night can be backed at 6/1.
With the darts returning to Dublin this week it looks set to be the ‘Lukes’ taking centre stage. We saw a 9 darter here in 2020 and punters are hoping that we’ll see another one to cap off a sensational night of darts in the capital.
