Dirty Harry Leads

Andreas Harrysson took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with Week Five of Series Seven commencing at the Modus Super Series.

Harrysson, who is having a superb 2024 after last appearing at the Super Series back in December, made his return by taking the early lead in Group A, after winning four matches from five.

The Icelander recorded victories against Connor Scutt, Leonard Gates, Mike Warburton and Michael Burgoyne, with his only defeat coming against Max de Jong, to end the day on 8 points from a possible 10.

Elsewhere, Leonard Gates also ended the day on 8 points, but sits in 2^nd behind Harrysson on leg difference. The Soulger continued what has been a very bust spell after struggling in his defence of the WSDT Champions of Champions defence, going out at the first hurdle.

Connor Scutt sits in 3^rd on 6 points, with Max de Jong and Mike Warburton sitting 4^th and 5^th respectively on 4 points each and Michael Burgoyne bottom on 0 points, having suffered five straight defeats.

The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Harrysson leading the way thus far.
