Mike Warburton, Greg Ritchie, David Evans, Andreas Harrysson and David Davies all secured their places in Saturday’s finale on Friday after coming through their respective groups at the Modus Super Series, to join Leonard Gates, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
Warburton, who entered Friday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group C, topped the group overall, after winning four of his five matches.
The Welshman recorded victories against Max de Jong, Michael Burgoyne, Ashley Coleman and Greg Ritchie, with his only defeat coming against Jarred Cole, to end on 16 points from a possible 20.
Greg Ritchie also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after finishing 2nd overall with 14 points, whilst Ashley Coleman finished 3rd on 12 points, Jarred Cole in 4th on 10 points, Max de Jong in 5th on 6 points and Michael Burgoyne bottom on 2 points.
In Group B, David Evans topped the group overall, after completing a clean sweep once again with four wins from four.
Stretch recorded victories against Connor Scutt, David Davies, Andreas Harrysson and Llew Bevan, to end on a maximum 16 points from a possible 16.
Sweden’s Harrysson and David Davies also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Harrysson ending on 12 points and Davies on 6 points, whilst Llew Bevan finished 4th on 4 points and Connor Scutt bottom on 2 points.
The Modus Super Series continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week Five with the six players battling it out for just one spot up for grabs at Champions Week, with play commencing from 7:30pm GMT.
