Reece Colley, Jimmy Van Schie, Martin Adams, Kurt Parry and Tom Sykes all secured their places in Saturday’s finale on Friday after coming through their respective groups at the Modus Super Series, to join Darryl Pilgrim, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
Colley, who entered Friday’s play on 4 points from the opening day of Group C, topped the group overall, after winning four of his five matches.
The Midlands man, nicknamed Chaos recorded victories against Jimmy Van Schie, Nick Fullwell, Mat Caste and Dave Ladley, with his only defeat coming against Damian Mol, to end on 12 points from a possible 20.
Elsewhere, Jimmy Van Schie also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after finishing 2nd overall on 12 points, edging out Damian Mol who missed out in 3rd due to leg difference, whilst Nick Fullwell and Mat Caste finished 4th and 5th respectively on 10 points each and Dave Ladley bottom on 4 points.
In Group B, Martin Adams topped the group overall, after winning three of his four matches to corroberwte his return to form on Friday Evening.
The three-time World Champion recorded victories against Tom Sykes, Paul Hogan and Kurt Parry, with his only defeat coming against Steven Johnstone, to end on 12 points from a possible 16.
Elsewhere, Kurt Parry and Tom Sykes also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively overall on 8 points each, whilst Steven Johnstone and Paul Hogan finished 4th and 5th on 6 points each.
The Modus Super Series continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week Six with the six players battling it out for just one spot up for grabs at Champions Week, with play commencing from 7:30pm BST.
