Women’s Series darts continues this weekend, as the biggest names in the women’s game compete across four events of the PDC’s dedicated tour in Wigan.
The year’s second weekend of PDC Women’s Series action will see Events 5-8 take place at the Robin Park Tennis Centre on April 20-21, with £10,000 in prize money on offer in each tournament.
Events 5-6 will take place on Saturday April 20, before Events 7-8 round off the weekend’s action on Sunday April 21, with live coverage available exclusively on PDCTV.
Fallon Sherrock claimed a brace of titles on the opening weekend last month, and the former Grand Slam quarter-finalist will headline this weekend’s action, with 95 entrants already confirmed.
Reigning Women’s World Matchplay champion Beau Greaves will also feature, as she bids to open her account in 2024 after scooping a dozen Women’s Series titles last year.
Noa-Lynn van Leuven and Mikuru Suzuki also return after claiming a title apiece last month, and they will compete alongside four-time Lakeside Champion Lisa Ashton.
2023 Event winner Natalie Gilbert will return to Women’s Series action for the first time in 2024 as she looks to continue to stake her claim for a Matchplay place.
Former Women’s World Matchplay runner-up Aileen de Graaf will be another high-profile name in action, with Wales’ Rhian O’Sullivan and decorated duo Deta Hedman and Trina Gulliver also set to star.
The top two players from the final PDC Women’s Series Order of Merit will qualify to compete in the 2024/25 Paddy Power World Darts Championship, alongside the winner of the 2024 Betfred Women’s World Matchplay.
The top eight players on the rolling Women’s Series Order of Merit after Event 12 will also qualify for the 2024 Betfred Women’s World Matchplay, which takes place on Sunday July 21 at the Winter Gardens.
Entries for the PDC Women’s Series, costing £25 per event, are available through the PDC Entry System. Entries for Events 5-8 close at 1400 BST on Thursday April 18.
