Ron Meulenkamp took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, as Week 12 of Series Seven commenced at the Modus Super Series.
Meulenkamp, who last appeared at the Super Series back in February during Champions Week of Series Six, made the perfect return by sweeping through the card and winning all five of his matches.
The Bomb recorded victories against Joshua Carter, Rusty-Jake Rodriguez, Dennis Van der Ende, Johann Brouwer and Joe Murnan, dropping just six legs along the way to end the day on a maximum 10 points.
Elsewhere, Rusty-Jake Rodriguez and Johann Brouwer ended the day 2nd and 3rd respectively overall on 6 points each, whilst Joe Murnan sits in 4th on 4 points, with Joshua Carter and Dennis Van der Ende sitting joint bottom on 2 points each.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Meulenkamp leading the way thus far.
