Greaves Leads MSS Champions Week

Beau Greaves took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning three of her five matches, with Champions Week of Series Seven commencing at the Modus Super Series.

Greaves, who entered Champions Week having won Week Nine in April, made her return by taking the early lead in Group A. The Women’s World Champion got off to a solid start , winning three of her five matches, but with some explosive moment including an emphatic victory over Bradly Brooks.

Beau ‘n’ Arrow recorded victories against Andreas Harrysson, Conor Heneghan and Bradley Brooks, with her two defeats coming against Ciaran Teehan and Andrew Davidson, to sit on 6 points from a possible 10 thus far.

It would be an error to read to much into the early table positions. Only 2 points separate all 6 players with none scoring more than 3 wins and none with less than 2. Days two and three are likely to be gripping stuff as all 5 players such an assured finale spot by winning Group A.

Andrew Davidson and Conor Heneghan also ended the day on 6 points each, with the pair sitting 2^nd and 3^rd respectively behind Greaves due to leg difference, whilst the remaining three players in Andreas Harrysson, Bradley Brooks and Ciaran Teehan sit 4^th, 5^th and 6^th on 4 points each.

The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Greaves leading the way thus far.
