Greaves Grabs Finale Place

Beau Greaves secured her place in Saturday’s Champions Week finale on Wednesday, after winning four of her five matches to end her Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.

Greaves, who entered Wednesday’s play on 12 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall, after winning four matches from five. In a day where anything was possible and only two points separated the entire group it was the 20-year-old who held her nerve best.

Beau recorded victories against Bradley Brooks, Conor Heneghan, Ciaran Teehan and Andrew Davidson, with her only defeat coming against Andreas Harrysson, to end on 20 points from a possible 30.

Elsewhere, Bradley Brooks and Conor Heneghan will compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2^nd and 3^rd respectively overall, with Brooks ending on 20 points and narrowly missing out on top spot due to leg difference, whilst Heneghan ended on 16 points. The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Cam Crabtree, Darius Labanauskas and Jimmy Van Schie.

Andreas Harrysson, Andrew Davidson and Ciaran Teehan will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4^th, 5^th and 6^th respectively overall, with Harrysson ending on 14 points, whilst Davidson and Teehan ended on 10 points each. The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Neil Duff, Bradly Roes and Reece Robinson.

The Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm BST and Group B commencing from 10pm BST.
