Hall Claims Jack Jones Memorial KO

GILBERT’s Bar, a local powerhouse in the hosting of darts event of all kinds, was the setting for the recent Jack Jones Memorial Knockout which attracted fifty PDC, County, Super League and local players.

The field was a who’s who of Midlands and Black Country players including the legendary Ian Jones and current PDC names such as Graham Hall. Adding a little transatlantic flair was USA and Warwickshire star Danny Lauby Jnr.

Making their exits in the quarter-finals were  Mark Jones, Brian Dolman, Ian Jones and Paul Price who all received £20 for their efforts. The first of the semi-finals saw Ryan O’Connor win 6-1 against Danny Lauby while from the other side of the draw Graham Hall beat Connor Whitehouse 6-3. Both Danny Lauby and Connor Whitehouse picked up £50.

Graham Hall turned out to be a worthy winner beating Ryan O’Connor 7-2 in the final in which he recorded a nine darts game and walked away with the top prize of £400, Ryan O’Connor receiving £200.
