John Henderson took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with Week Three of Series Eight commencing at the Modus Super Series. 

Henderson, who last appeared at the Super Series back in December, made his return by taking the early lead in Group A, after winning four matches from five.

The World Senior Darts Champion recorded victories against Reece Robinson, Tommy Morris, Andreas Harrysson and Niall Culleton, with his only defeat coming against Gilbert Van der Meijden, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.  

Gilbert Van der Meijden also ended the day on 8 points, but sits in 2nd behind Henderson due to legs won across five matches played, whilst Tommy Morris and Andreas Harrysson sit 3rd and 4th respectively on 6 points each.

Niall Culleton sits in 5th on 2 points and Reece Robinson bottom on 0 points, having suffered five straight defeats.  

The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Henderson leading the way thus far.

Play will begin at 9:30am BST and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
