No Double Trouble For Duff

Neil Duff secured his place in Saturday’s Double Trouble finale on Wednesday, after winning three of his five matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.

Former Lakeside World Champion, Duff, who entered Wednesday’s play on 14 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall, after winning three matches from five, as he recorded victories against Robert Thornton, John Henderson and Scott Mitchell, with his two defeats coming against Richie Burnett and Andreas Harrysson, to end on 20 points from a possible 30.

Elsewhere, Robert Thornton and Andreas Harrysson will both compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2^nd and 3^rd respectively overall, with Thornton ending on 18 points and Harrysson on 16 points.

The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Jeff Smith, Bradley Brooks and Adam Lipscombe.

Scott Mitchell, Richie Burnett and John Henderson will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4^th, 5^th and 6^th respectively overall, with Mitchell and Burnett ending on 14 points each, whilst Henderson ended on 8 points.

The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Ted Evetts, Devon Petersen and Mason Whitlock.

The Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm BST and Group B commencing from 10pm BST. Play will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
