Carl Wilson took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, Darius Labanauskas also ended the day on 8 points, but sits in 2nd due to legs won across the opening day of Series Nine commencing at the Modus Super Series.
Wilson, who was making his debut at the Super Series, made an excellent start by winning four matches from five, as he recorded victories against Bradley Brooks, Steve West, Neil Duff and Niels Van Zanten, with his only defeat coming against Darius Labanauskas (pictured), to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere Bradley Brooks sits in 3rd on 6 points, Niels Van Zanten in 4th on 4 points, with Neil Duff and Steve West sitting 5th and 6th respectively on 2 points each.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Wilson leading the way thus far.
