Smith Moves Top at MSS

Justin Smith moved to the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning four of his five matches on Day Two as he looks to secure his place in Saturday’s finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.

Smith, who entered Tuesday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group A, won four matches from five again to move to the top of the table, as he recorded victories against Andreas Harrysson, Dennis Van der Ende, Ross Montgomery and Mike Warburton, with his only defeat coming against Darren Barton, to sit on 16 points from a possible 20 thus far.

Elsewhere, Andreas Harrysson and Mike Warburton are the closest competitors to Smith, with the pair sitting 2^nd and 3^rd respectively on 14 points each, whilst Darren Barton sits in 4^th on 8 points, Ross Montgomery in 5^th on 6 points and Dennis Van der Ende bottom on 2 points.

The Modus Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Smith leading the way thus far.

Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups for Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.
