Carl Sneyd moved to the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning four of his five matches on Day Two and looks set to secure his place in Saturday’s finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.
Sneyd, who entered Tuesday’s play on 8 points, level with Group A leader John O’Shea, from the opening day of Group A, won four matches from five again to move top of the table.
The Bomber recorded victories against Bram Van Dijk, Andy Hamilton, John O’Shea and Adam Paxton, with his only defeat coming against Bradly Roes, to sit on 16 points from a possible 20 thus far.
Elsewhere, John O’Shea and Bram Van Dijk are the closest competitors to Sneyd, as the pair sit 2nd and 3rd respectively on 12 points each, whilst Bradly Roes sits in 4th on 8 points, with Adam Paxton and Andy Hamilton sitting 5th and 6th on 6 points each.
The Modus Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Sneyd leading the way thus far.
Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups for Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.
Play will begin at 9:30am BST on Wednesday and will be streamed live on The Modus YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
