Worsley took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after
completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, with Week Four of Series Nine commencing at the Modus Super Series.
Worsley, who last appeared at the Super Series back in July, made the perfect return by winning all five of his matches on the opening day of Group A.
The Welshman recorded victories against Dan Astbury, Jim Mayer, Steven Johnstone, Kai Gotthardt and Tom Lonsdale, to sit on a maximum 10 points from 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, Steven Johnstone and Tom Lonsdale ended the day 2nd and 3rd respectively on 6 points each, whilst Dan Astbury and Kai Gotthardt sit 4th and 5th on 4 points each, with Jim Mayer sitting bottom on 0 points, having suffered five straight defeats.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Worsley leading the way thus far.
