Colin Osborne took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, with Week Six of Series Nine commencing at the Modus Super Series.
Osborne, who last appeared at the Super Series back in July, made a perfect return by winning all five of his matches on the opening day of Group A, as he recorded victories against Ashley Coleman, Tom Sykes, Timothy Verbrugghe, Bradley Coltman and Daniel Larsson, to sit on a maximum 10 points from 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, Daniel Larsson ended the day in 2nd on 8 points, whilst three players in Tom Sykes, Bradley Coltman and Timothy Verbrugghe sit 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively on 4 points each, with Ashley Coleman sitting bottom on 0 points having suffered five straight defeats.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Osborne leading the way thus far.
