Kurt Parry took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, as Week Eight of Series Nine commenced at the Modus Super Series.
Parry, who last competed at the Super Series back in August, made his return by winning four matches from five on the opening day of Group A, as he recorded victories against David Mayle, Anton Ostlund, Marvin Van Velzen and Scott Taylor, with his only defeat coming against Jim McEwan, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, Jim McEwan and Scott Taylor ended the day 2nd and 3rd respectively on 6 points each, whilst defending champion Marvin Van Velzen and Anton Ostlund sit 4th and 5th on 4 points each, with David Mayle sitting bottom on 2 points.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Parry leading the way thus far.
